Dear Mom,
Dad used to tell me that during your pregnancy you’d tell stories about “your little princess” and how excited you were to hold me. I’ll admit that things weren’t always easy growing up without you. He is a fantastic man, but Dad never really got the makeup thing. He never seemed to really enjoy picking out a prom dress like I imagine you would have. There are moments that belong to a mother and her daughter and even though you weren’t physically there, I know you shared them with me. I’m graduating high school in a couple of weeks! I know that you’ll be there smiling down on me from heaven. You gave your life for me and I’m going to do everything I can to make you proud.
I know you only held me for a few seconds, but I’ll always be…
Your Little Princess
